The Max Toy pocket figures were sculpted by Gargamel way back when and predate the minis by a few years. There’s a Maxx and a Xam released in clear red vinyl as either keychains or necklace charms, and the sculpts are alright, but really blown away by the new mini line. I decided to paint up my pockets and use them as zipper-charms on my backpack!

With the completion of the Eyezon, I have assembled a full set (plus a duplicate) of Monster Kolor painted Max Toy minis. The Eyezon, metallic Xam, Tripus, Drazoran, and Eyezon are by me, the pink Xam is by Nagata, and the Maxx is by DP. Now I need to get one of every sculpt hand-painted by a different artist 😉 I have a flat-color Drazoran painted by Gatchabert, so that’s three sculpts down…
Glyaxia Special Forces Sarvos in a custom flight armor. I’m not really sure of the role of Blue Squad yet, but they definitely have access to special equipment.
This guy is a custom build that the commissioner wanted painted to look like the printing on money. The Big Brother head was sculpted and cast by Mag-Fitch over on the October Toys board and looks pretty cool.
This guy was the figure that started the Blue Squad idea. He’s some kind of cool alien, so he was commissioned to have a colorful MK-sprayed mushroom head like a Matango figure and then a flat color weathered suit. I figured if I was already painting some weathered figures, I oughta do a couple.
This is another commissioned custom build. The only input from the customer was shiny eyes, and maybe a desert theme, so I ran with that idea and practiced some weathering techniques. Really happy with this guy.
This guy is a Support-class Gendrone from Glyaxia Special Forces Blue Squad. Armed with a pair of Specter Photon Cannons, this model provides mid to close-range fire support on Blue Squad missions.
