This is another commissioned custom build. The only input from the customer was shiny eyes, and maybe a desert theme, so I ran with that idea and practiced some weathering techniques. Really happy with this guy.
Believe it or not, all of the colors except the actual weathering were mixed using Monster Kolor. I really enjoy the shiny stuff that MK can do, but I’ve also been trying out some different techniques for getting back to my preferred matte style. This guy was sprayed 100% with MK and glossed, and then I did the weathering over the gloss and finally matte varnished everything but the eyes.
