Just wanted to post a reminder that Sunday was E-day… the first wave of E.killers goes on sale at 8PM EST on SATURDAY the 31st. Along with the first wave of killers will be some choice vinyl customs from the past couple months for sale. Make sure to check the Shop for everything that goes up!

Took a huge number of photos today for various projects, and wanted to throw this one up right away! An E.killer stalks its human prey and prepares an ambush. When the time is right, the E.killer will pounce upon its unsuspecting victim’s soft, fleshy ankles.
After weeks of delay due to lost internet, my work schedule, and this awful heat, I am pleased to announce that the debut wave of Killer Culture E.killers is ready to go!
Each E.killer is painted using Monster Kolor paints, and feature multiple colors, pearls, and color change flakes, all with a MK Ultra-High Gloss coat, for maximum shine and protection. The bugs look wet and iridescent, like living cells!
Now, on to the gory details:
Each E.killer is cast in urethane resin, made from three parts, and features one point of articulation at the tentacle ‘shoulder’.
The Rollout wave of 5 figures will go up for sale at 8:00PM EST Saturday, July 31. I want to give everyone a chance to catch their breath after SDCC, and let the pics get around. They will be $35 plus actual shipping (probably USPS flat rate boxes) and come with a bag and header card. Ordering instructions will go up when they go on sale, but it’ll be an email affair, pay by PayPal, and first-come first-serve.

Just a quick Killer Culture update: it looks like this heat is supposed to start to break this weekend, so painting should get underway next week. Fingers crossed for a speedy completion of the first wave of E.killers!
The unbelievable heat here in New York has just about everything at a standstill, so painting the first wave has been pushed back. Unfortunately, there was an accident in the lab, and the one killer that received a base coat so I could show off the sculpt escaped, leaving a path of destruction behind. Attached are the last photos of the specimen, taken by the late guard on duty at the time:
This was the first image sent back by the guard of the specimen awakening. The guard moved in for a close look:
At this point the guard was able to observe the creature examining its surroundings, including improperly disposed waste from a previous experiment.
We believe this next photo shows the creature feeding:
After this, we are not exactly sure what happened, but it appears the creature became aware that it was being watched. These are the last two photos received.
The creature’s whereabouts are currently unknown.
The big news starts here! Introducing the Killer Culture line of resin figures!
I have been toiling away this little project for a while now, and am finally ready to pull back the curtain on the first figure. Now, on to the story:
In 2010, the esteemed Dr. Hayflick was experimenting with macrocellularification, an experimental technique for making normally microscopic specimens large enough to be analyzed using the naked eye. Using highly unstable ATP-X, Dr. Hayflick was able to grow individual cells that were up to two or three inches in diameter for analysis. What happened next is still under investigation, but early reports indicate that a mutagen experiment elsewhere in the facility suffered some complications, and an experimental mutagen leaked into the ventilation system at the same time that a major breakthrough in Dr. Hayflick’s work was expected. The facility was destroyed in the aftermath of what happened next, with Dr. Hayflick still unaccounted for, but the world now faces a deadly new menace, the Killer Cultures! From the mutagen ATP-X birthing pools beneath the site of the lab, macrocellified pathogens have been launching their attacks on humanity, wreaking havoc wherever they appear!
The first Killer Culture making its debut is the Escherichia killer, one of the front line and most abundant macrocell bacteria observed. Armed with a crushing tentacle and deadly toxin transport proteins, E.killers exist only to feed and destroy. No antibiotic tried yet has been able to stop their deadly advance!
As the first figure in the line, E.killer will debut shortly in all his resin glory. The first wave is almost ready for paint, and more news will be coming.
Bear with me while the site falls apart and comes back together again… big new things are afoot, and I think fans of my work are going to like them!
Just a quick update on something I’ve been collecting. I love army green vinyl, and there are some really great special Real X Head releases in this color. The latest one I picked up is the Hone Borg, but it doesn’t actually quite match the green of the others like I thought it did. Next up will hopefully be a MC-17 Mutant Chaos in this green, and then someday a very rare Mutant Head that I think matches as well.

The Galaxy People are a new line of resin figures made by Skullbrain user Mondocoyote. The first wave, Incident on Asterius 19, was available on his web-store. Meklops and Chirops were the regular releases, in matching uniforms. Unfortunately they are now sold out, but since the first real release was such a success, we will undoubtedly be seeing more.
The Galaxy People figures are hand-sculpted, cast in resin, and painted, and look awesome. They have a very clean finish, and a cool retro sci-fi vibe going on. The figures are all posed in the classic cheapie Japanese vinyl ‘flying pose’, and look ready for action. The resin has a great heft to it, and the figures feel plenty durable. The paint is simple, but effective, and lends itself to the retro style that I think Mondo is going for with these figures. That said, I would love to see some more elaborately painted figures, as there’s just enough detail present in the sculpts to have some fun! The doll eyes also add some great depth and character to the figures.
As a bonus, Mondo threw in a one-off Galaxy People launch bonus, a very cool silver Asterian Parasitoid! This guy has a slightly more detailed sculpt, and the one-off has a really cool purple undertone effect and some very subtle sprays going on.
I couldn’t help but play with these guys a little bit when I got them… having the two matching (I assume) good guys and a monster-type guy makes for some good battles.
EDIT: I made a bit of a mistake here, Mondo’s full handle is Mondocoyote, so it’s spelled wrong on the photos 😦
