As far as I’m concerned, it should be illegal to make a robot toy and not paint at least one in army colors. Thus, the Real Type.
This is the last reveal for the release tomorrow night. Just to reiterate:
Figures go up at 9PM EST Saturday, April 30 on the PRS Store site. The Rollout and Task Force G figures will be $25 each plus shipping, and the three one-offs will be $30 each plus shipping. See you all there!
Low-res shot of the completed header. I had a great time working on this, and I hope you guys enjoy it!
Additionally, I have finalized the release details… 9PM EST April 30. Be there or be square!
Quick photo of the still drying Microfighter header art. I think this might end up being a catch-all PRS header for the foreseeable future with different text on it.
Task Force G Microfighter detailed up with decals, wear, and weathering. He’s been in the thick of it and keeps on kicking.
Halfbad Toys is a three person painting, casting, and designer toy company from Connecticut, and they are awesome. I got to meet them at FOE, where they were debuting the FOE exclusive color of their collaborative figure with oOMoSOo, a designer of cool things, sculpted by Steven Patt of PapaGrim Toys. The result is Skekiltor, the Mace of Hades.
Just a reminder, the Kaiju for Japan items will be going up at 4PM EST tomorrow, April 22. Look for my Antimacrobial Microfighter, Brownnoize Productions’ Tohoku Gin Gin, Paul Kaiju’s Chibi Welts, pieces by Dustin Cantrell and Mark Nagata, and many more fantastic toys!
Task Force G was one of the first operational Microfighter deployments after the initial Rollout. Their bright colors make them a comforting site when combating Killer Culture outbreaks in populated areas.
Special Armored Battalion Dorvack is a mecha series that ran in 1983. It featured two main sets of mecha, a trio of transformable machines and endless soldiers donning doofy MaK-esque power armor. Takatoku handled the toy side of things, with many sizes of transformable mechs and a single deluxe Nove power suit figure that came in two colors with three weapon configurations.
