Adventures in Shapeways   2 comments

I received some test prints from Shapeways of a quick bot I threw together teaching myself Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 5 CAD software.  I used these guys to get a sense of how some on-screen details translate into plastic.  I also had some problems with the largest (and most expensive) print that I’m going to report back to Shapeways.

These are just a test, but there’s more PRS 3D printed goodness in the pipe, so keep your eyes peeled!

  1. Thanks for giving us a try, prometheum5 😀

You can always reach out to Shapeways customer service at service@shapeways.com if you have any problems! Hopefully they can help with your big print that had issues 😦

Make sure you post your next round of prints!

    • Thanks, Brad. I’m excited about the possibilities using 3D printing opens up for me, and will definitely have more to show in the future. I sent an email to customer service right before posting this, and am replying to them with the photos right now. Hopefully we can figure out what happened.
